Day 3

We still have not got over the jet lag so after breakfast at 7:30 this morning we planned the day ahead and decided to go to Fort Worth and Stockyards Station which used to be the biggest and busiest livestock marketing centre in the southwest. It was a bit cheesy but Lorna liked it especially the candy store. At 11:30 the cowboys herded a stock of longhorn cattle down the main street. It was cool and the weather was great. Then we got hungry and decided to find a TGI Fridays. So punched it into the SatNav and we were on our way. Tomorrow we check out of the hotel and head north to Oklahoma and Tulsa for Thanksgiving and then who knows after that, we have checked into a hotel just in case it got busy with holiday folk, but after that it will be stop when we drop.
